The Stranger Things cast is back in the spotlight with a new Time Magazine feature promoting the show’s fifth and final season, set to premiere later this year.
The photoshoot, shot by Ruven Afanador, leans hard into the 1980s aesthetic that made the Netflix series a global hit. Cast members Millie Bobby Brown, Sadie Sink, Finn Wolfhard, Caleb McLaughlin, and Gaten Matarazzo pose in neon-lit sets and vintage styling that nod to classic teen films and sci-fi art of the decade.

The Duffers offered a few details in Time’s accompanying interview, hinting at a darker tone and expanded mythology. Season 5 will reportedly return to Hawkins and the Upside Down while introducing new story perspectives—including sequences seen through a monster’s point of view.
Production on the final season wrapped earlier this year after strike-related delays. Netflix hasn’t announced a premiere date but confirmed eight feature-length episodes are planned.
The Time feature has reignited excitement for the show’s conclusion and debate over whether Stranger Things can deliver a finale worthy of its cultural impact.
