In a surprising twist… Kanye is going to have to give up tons of his money in his divorce. Is he going to have any money at this point?
According to CNN, the two stars have reportedly reached a settlement when it comes to their terms. According to the draft of this, it is reportedly that Kim will receive $200,000 per month in child support from West, who now of course goes by Ye.
The question we want to know the answer to is after Kanye has now lost all of his brand campaigns, where is he going to get this money from? Kardashian, who filed for divorce in February of 2021, cited irreconcilable differences for the affair. Lately Kim has been under fire for her collaborations with Balenciaga as the brand had many question its motifs after the latest ad campaign featured children with chains and ropes.
As of this year in March of 2022, Kardashian actually declared herself legally single after being granted the request to change her marital status.
Looking back at her interview with Vogue this year, the mogul staying: “for so long, I did what made other people happy” and that she decided “I’m going to make myself happy.” She went on saying, “even if that created changes and caused my divorce, I think it’s important to be honest with yourself about what really makes you happy.”
Of course Kanye has apologized to all of the pain and embarrassment he had caused for his wife, but many wondered why he did not take this to court amidst all of his current financial troubles. Looking at further details of this arrangement, these terms will apparently be starting as soon as December 1st, so Kanye does not have a lot of time. The two had also agreed to joint custody of their children as well.
Further in these documents, it looks like Kim has agreed to pay for the kids’ insurance, health care and medical expenses, but many wonder what this $200,000 a month will be going toward. Other costs being split for North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm’s private education and any private security needed for the family. In addition, the two will somehow be splitting any college expenses should the children have any interest in a higher education.

But you are probably wondering, what about any assets they shared? According to the documents it states “The Parties agree that during their marriage they acquired no community assets together and that as of the Date of Separation and the date of this Stipulated Judgment they owned no community assets.”
Now if the two are unable to make any decisions together on their expenses they shall split, the two are to appear under a southern California court within fourteen days for at least three hours with a certified judicial officer. Since this whole divorce filing, Ye had fired two of his lawyers and raised several technical issues and demands. One including the rapper asking if he can have right to question any new husband of Kardashian under oath. Not surprisingly, he was rejected from this appeal.
With all of the downfall of Kanye plus this new income of cash, Kardashian is now wealthier than her former husband.
If has not been confirmed if this number was agreed upon before the demise of Ye and his deals with Yeezy, Adidas and more. When the group was leaving the courtroom, many expected the cameras to be around, but not one was to be seen for the The Kardashians’ Hulu show.
