Jeff Bezos is the CEO of Amazon, he owns one of the biggest media conglomerates in the world, and he’s the richest man in modern history with over $177 billion dollars… yet he still can’t keep his girlfriend’s eyes off of Leonardo DiCaprio.
Leonardo DiCaprio respectfully hit it off with the Emmy award-winning journalist, Lauren Sánchez, at the LACMA Art+Film Gala and the video went viral on Twitter. Who could even blame Sánchez for being captivated by Hollywood’s biggest heartthrob? C’mon, it’s Leonardo DiCaprio. The interaction as a whole was harmless, but it did make for some hilarious Twitter content from Jeff Bezos himself.
The Viral Video That Started it
On Monday, Barstool Sports tweeted a clip of Leonardo DiCaprio talking to Bezos and his girlfriend, Lauren Sánchez, at the 2021 LACMA Art+Film Gala.

Sánchez, of course, is looking up at DiCaprio the way most of the general population would. Accompanying the video are the words “Leo is Mr. Steal Yo Girl.”
Bezos “Threatens” DiCaprio In A Hilarious Tweet
Bezos responded to Barstool’s tweet with a photo of himself, (shirtless might I add), leaning on a hiking-trail sign that reads “DANGER! STEEP CLIFF. FATAL DROP.” Alongside the photo, Bezos wrote, “Leo, come over here, I want to show you something …,” tagging DiCaprio in his tweet.

Bezos and Sánchez have been dating since at least January 2019, when they were outed as a couple amid the announcement that Bezos and his wife of 25 years, MacKenzie Scott, were divorcing.

The tweet is made in good fun and it’s seemingly inoffensive, but that didn’t stop all of the responding twitter reactions. I mean, how often are we seeing millionaires and billionaires “fighting” each other on Twitter like this.

Despite being seemingly star-struck by DiCaprio, Sanchez took to Instagram after the event to share a photo of herself gazing lovingly at Bezos while on the red carpet.

I’m sure the richest man in the world is feeling pretty secure in his relationship with Sánchez, but the interaction was entertaining nonetheless. Then again, maybe that was enough shirtless pictures of Bezos for a while.
