The wait is over, fashionistas and fans of the fabulous four.

The third season of “And Just Like That…”, the follow-up to HBO’s landmark series Sex and the City, premieres Thursday, May 29, 2025, on HBO Max. New episodes will stream weekly every Thursday at 9 p.m. ET, with the 12-episode run concluding on Aug. 14.

Set 11 years after the events of Sex and the City 2, the series continues the journey of Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker), Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon), and Charlotte York (Kristin Davis) as they navigate the ever-evolving landscape of relationships, careers, and identity in their 50s. S

Since debuting in 2021, “And Just Like That…” has reintroduced the beloved trio to a new generation while offering longtime fans a more nuanced, modern portrayal of midlife.

Season 3 picks up with significant changes for each lead character. Carrie is pivoting her voice from columns to chapters, writing a “romantasy” novel that reflects her evolving worldview. Meanwhile, her rekindled romance with Aidan Shaw (John Corbett) hits new complications, challenging the nostalgia of their second chance.

Miranda is reevaluating her career and personal values after a period of upheaval, while Charlotte is reemerging into her artistic roots, balancing her identity as a mother with her own ambitions. This season also marks the return of Carrie’s signature voiceover—a stylistic nod to the original series that adds an emotional undercurrent to each storyline.

“There’s nothing like summer in New York City, with its hot days and even hotter nights. Something new and unexpected always awaits,” Bradshaw says in the new season 3 trailer. She continues, “Life is a story we get to write every day, and when the plot twists, we can choose to embrace a new chapter.”

Adding new flavor to the mix are fresh characters like Joy (played by Dolly Wells), a sharp-witted architect, and Giuseppe (Sebastiano Pigazzi), a young poet who strikes up a connection with one of the main cast. While some characters, including Sara Ramirez’s Che Diaz and Karen Pittman’s Dr. Nya Wallace, will not appear this season, their storylines are expected to be addressed early in the new episodes.

The red carpet premiere in New York City set the tone for Season 3’s elevated style. Parker, in particular, turned heads in a navy Vivienne Westwood gown that evoked the kind of high-fashion drama that has long defined her alter ego.

Visually, the show continues to deliver on fashion and New York backdrops, with costume designers and directors collaborating to reflect each character’s internal evolution. And while it continues to embrace newer themes, technology, gender identity, and grief, the heart of And Just Like That… remains rooted in the complexities of enduring friendship.
