South Park has never shied away from turning cultural obsessions into chaotic satire, but its latest episode might have gone darker than anyone expected. Season 27, Episode 4 puts the viral Labubu plush toys front and center, weaving them into a playground feud, an economic rant about tariffs, and, somehow, a satanic pregnancy involving Donald Trump.
The plot begins with the kids of South Park Elementary obsessing over the blind-box collectibles, originally created by Hong Kong illustrator Kasing Lung. The dolls, which retail for as little as $7 but can resell for thousands, have inspired real-world frenzy — and plenty of conspiracies. Our own coverage earlier this summer explored whether Labubu dolls are cursed after TikTok rumors linked them to Mesopotamian demon Pazuzu, sparking a wave of paranoia online read more here.
In the episode, kids accuse each other of having fake Labubus — dubbed “Lafufus” — while a weary Jesus Christ is roped in as the school counselor. Things escalate when Butters tries to impress Red with a rare Labubu, learning along the way about Trump’s tariffs inflating the toy’s price. But the real chaos comes when a student uses their Labubu in a ritual, complete with vomited chicken blood, and summons Satan himself.

The twist? Satan reveals he can’t leave Trump because he’s pregnant with the former president’s child. “I am forced to stay in this situation for several more years,” Satan declares, confirming what the internet quickly dubbed Trump’s “butt baby.”
The Internet Reacts
Unsurprisingly, fans lit up social media with reactions to the episode’s mix of toy mania and political parody.

“South Park just made Labubus demonic AND revealed Satan is pregnant with Trump’s baby. I wasn’t ready for this.” — @actuallgabb on X
Some viewers connected the dots between the show’s parody and the real-world Labubu hysteria. On TikTok, unboxing videos rack up millions of views, while collectors brawl over limited releases. Others pointed out how South Park leaned directly into the “cursed doll” narrative that has haunted the fandom since 2023.

Although the Labubu hype has gradually subsided, some are still being sold at record prices, and this new episode may have sparked another buying wave. With Season 27 running on a bi-weekly schedule and Paramount reportedly thrilled with the ratings surge, fans can expect more headline-skewering episodes — though whether the next one will involve a plush toy apocalypse remains to be seen.
